{"id":20,"date":"2015-09-26T16:12:54","date_gmt":"2015-09-26T23:12:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.mrrc.ca\/?page_id=20"},"modified":"2026-04-03T16:35:38","modified_gmt":"2026-04-03T23:35:38","slug":"mackenzie-highway-network","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mrrc.ca\/?page_id=20","title":{"rendered":"Mackenzie Highway Network"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mackenzie Highway Network is a combination Voice and APRS VHF amateur radio network that covers Alberta&#8217;s Peace River country.<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently we have a voice repeaters located in Peace River, Berwyn, and Chinook Valley.The Mackenzie Highway Network has a full time link to the VE6OL repeater which is linked to several other repeaters that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ve6arc.net\/wp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Peace Country Amateur Radio Club\">Peace Country Amateur Radio Club<\/a> supports.<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&nbsp;operate&nbsp;IRLP Node&nbsp;1450 which is accessible via the network.<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chinook Valley (North of Peace&nbsp;River)&nbsp; VE6PRR&nbsp; 146.82 Mhz -600 Khz offset<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peace River VE6AAA 145.49 Mhz -600Khz offset<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Berwyn VE6AAF 146.79 Mhz -600 Khz offset CTCSS 100.0 Hz <\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The APRS side of the network currently consists of three WIDEN-n \/ ABN-n digipeaters, and a IGATE which is located in Grimshaw.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Mackenzie Highway Network is a combination Voice and APRS VHF amateur radio network that covers Alberta&#8217;s Peace River country.
